The client’s products will be
displayed on the site following a category/subcategory
hierarchy. The item thumbnails will be clickable and will
display a large image, along with all details of the item.
From the details page, the members can choose to add the
products to the carts.

Shopping Cart
The e-Store will allow the customer
to browse the system in search of desired items, add those
items to the cart, and then proceed to the check out.
The cart will facilitate the collection of customer’s
information, including login in for existing customers
or account creation for new customers, as well as the
collection of the credit card information.
The shopping cart will have the feature
for updating item quantity, removing items and continue
shopping.

Credit Card Gateway Processing and PayPal
All payments will be made through Credit
Card or Paypal. The client will provide the gateway information
for Credit Card Processing. If the client wishes to have
the transactions made through SSL, he must arrange for
this and provide all relative information.

Orders
The eStore facilitates the
complete automation of the order process. All orders made
on the site will be listed in the backend. This will come
with the ability to filter records.

Product Management
This will be a section in the backend that
will provide an option for adding/modifying or removing
products on the site along with the ability to upload
its images. This will not require to FTP anything but
all product images will be uploaded by browsing the image.
This section will also provide a feature
for adding new categories and sub categories.

Customer Management
The customer manager will allow the site
owner to have a list of all customers. The system will
show the site owner the information of all customers such
as contact information and other general information like
allowing reminders of occasions – birthdays/anniversaries
etc.. This will come with the ability to filter records.

Shipping Management
The shipping charges for all orders will
be charged at a fix rate. These charges could be updated
from the backend. The charges could be set for different
countries as well as certain states/provinces. The client
will provide this scenario.

Marketing Tools
Promotion System
The system will allow the site owner to
add promotions for the entire site. The promotion system
will allow the site owner to define a percentage discount,
dollar value discount, or free item, without needing to
enter a code at checkout. The site owner will be able
to define a date range for which the promotion is in effect.
The promotion will automatically be hidden outside of
the given date range.
Banner Rotation
The system will allow the site owner to
upload banners for the purpose of advertising any promotions,
items, etc. When uploading the banners, the system will
allow the site owner to define links to which the banner
images will link. The system will support an unlimited
number of banners with the option of either sequentially
displaying the banners (one after another in the order
they were uploaded) or at random.
The site will have the capability for Event-driven
gifts/sales e.g., Mother’s day, Father’s day,
Xmas, New Year, Valentines’ day etc. This system
will also send auto reminders of special occasions to
all members.

Order Tracking Facility
Customers can track their orders. You will
enter the status from the backend and users can track
by entering their order id on the site.
